What started as a shared hobby with my Dad became a way to find focus and solace in an overwhelming world. As I began to spend more time behind the camera, I found I was able to share with people what I see, which is beauty in the seemingly small things. Now, I try to use my lens to show people the beauty in themselves, their family and friends, and surroundings. I take an empathetic and authentic approach to photography: no posing, no posturing, just capturing people and places as they are.
